Bury boss Alan Knill was disappointed with his team's performance in the 1-1 draw at Barnet on Saturday.

Ryan Lowe had given the Shakers the lead in the 56th minute but Mark Marshall equalised for Barnet from a 30-yard free-kick just nine minutes later to leave Knill far from happy.

He said: "We've got no choice but to take the point.

"It wasn't a particularly good game of football and was a bit pedestrian from both sides and then we gave away a free-kick, it goes through the wall and costs us two points.

"If you stand there and let it hit you they dont score and we get three points. I've got young players and it's a learning time for them and that was a big learning curve.

"I thought we were comfortable without really hurting them either. We made some changes to get some pace, at times it worked, at times it didn't."
