Rochdale produced a major shock by thrashing high-flying Milton Keynes Dons 5-0 at Spotland.

The League Two strugglers scored three goals inside the first 16 minutes through Adam Le Fondre (5), Simon Ramsden (10) and Rory Prendergast (16).

Le Fondre got his second on 62 minutes before the fifth came from Kelvin Etuhu (pictured) with six minutes remaining.

Swindon moved within a point of Walsall at the top as The Robins won at home, while Richard Money's side could only draw 1-1.

Ricky Shakes (45) and Lee Peacock (52) were the scorers as Swindon beat Macclesfield 2-0.

Walsall, meanwhile, were held by Boston United 1-1 at the Bescot Stadium.

Tommy Wright's penalty (49) for Darlington denied Wrexham all three points after Simon Spender's 31st minute goal for the Welsh side.

Stockport were 2-0 home winners against Wycombe Wanderers as Anthony Elding (21) and Stephen Gleeson (47) got the goals.

Ten-man Mansfield held Chester City 1-1 away at the Saunders Honda Stadium.

After Barry Conlon had been sent off, Jake Buxton fired Mansfield in front on 32 minutes but Lee Steele rescued a point for Chester (62).

Hartlepool United beat Bury 2-0 with goals from James Brown (33) and Antony Sweeney (57).
