League Two round-up

Leaders Hartlepool staged a remarkable comeback to claim a 3-3 draw at Stockport, while Accrington Stanley beat Torquay in the relegation 'six-pointer'.

Stockport raced into a three-goal lead at Edgeley Park through Adam Le Fondre's penalty (24), Anthony Elding (28) and Liam Dickinson (36).

The visitors' fightback began less than two minutes later through Andy Monkhouse and Richie Barker's penalty just after half-time put the visitors within striking distance.

Barker grabbed his brace on 65 minutes and the comeback was complete for Danny Wilson's side.

Peter Cavanagh struck a dramatic injury-time winner for Accrington over bottom club Torquay who were reduced to 10 men in the 55th minute by Lee Mansell's dismissal.

10-man Boston also did their hopes of avoiding the drop a power of good by defeating Mansfield 2-1 through goals from Stewart Talbot (18) and Drewe Broughton, with the hosts' sole reply coming from Barry Conlon (30).

Bradley Thomas's 54th minute sending off made it a nervous end to the game for The Pilgrims but the visitors held out for the crucial three points.

Swindon slipped to a 1-0 defeat at improving Grimsby. Ciaran Toner's 73rd minute strike proved to be the matchwinner, while Swindon's Michael Timlin saw red eight minutes from time.

MK Dons capitalised on Swindon's defeat by defeating 10-man Wrexham 2-1, and Lincoln are into fourth following a 1-0 win over Barnet.

Clive Platt scored five minutes from time for MK Dons after Keith Andrews's 38th minute penalty had cancelled out Lee McEvilly's 12th minute opener for the visitors who were reduced in number by Lee Roche's dismissal in the 36th minute.

Lee Frecklington's 51st minute goal gave Lincoln a 1-0 win over Barnet.

There was a lot riding on Wycombe's clash with Walsall but the two promotion hopefuls could not be separated in a goalless draw.

Tommy Wright's 67th minute goal gave Darlington a 1-0 win over Hereford to maintain The Quakers' play-off push.

A stoppage-time penalty from Macclesfield's Kevin McIntyre rescued a point in a 1-1 draw at Bury who had taken the lead in this North West derby a quarter of an hour from time through Glyn Hurst.

Elsewhere, Stuart Nicholson's brace (53 and 72) gave Bristol Rovers a 2-0 win over Notts County.
