Will Grigg cannot recall a better strike throughout his Walsall career than his wonder effort against Scunthorpe on Saturday.
The Northern Ireland Under-21 international connected with Richard Taundry's cross-penalty area delivery to smash a stunning right-footed volley back across goal and into the far top corner.
The thumping 83rd-minute strike looked to have secured the Saddlers all three points until Scunthorpe levelled matters at 2-2 in the fourth minute of injury time.
"I'm really pleased with the goal," Grigg told Walsall's official website. "The ball came over and as it was in the air I just decided to hit it first time and thankfully it flew into the net.
"I don't think I've scored a better goal than that, to be fair. I'm just gutted it wasn't the winner, but it's a point and an end to our losing run.
"Hopefully I have done enough in the time I was on the pitch to be in the running for a starting place at the weekend."
