All eyes will be on the top of the table in League One this Saturday as a jam-packed afternoon fixture list sees the top five all play the role of hosts.

Table-topping Norwich have perhaps the toughest game of the promotion hopefuls with Johnstone's Paint Trophy finalists Southampton journeying to Carrow Road but Canaries boss Paul Lambert will be confident his side can maintain their push for Championship football next term.

Leeds, who looked to be coasting to the division title earlier in the season, continue to stutter and Simon Grayson's side will be desperate to halt their slump when Gus Poyet's struggling Brighton travel north to Elland Road.

Colchester's recent good form has seen them move within three points of the Whites and Aidy Boothroyd's Us will look to close the gap further when Oldham visit the Weston Homes Community Stadium.

Charlton, who have not won in their last five league games and have dropped to fourth, take on Yeovil at The Valley with Phil Parkinson hoping his Addicks can get their bid for automatic promotion back on track.

Swindon are also in the hunt to go up this season and the fifth placed Robins play host to Carlisle, who booked their place in the final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy with a penalty shoot-out win over Leeds earlier this month.

Immaculate

Millwall have been immaculate in their last five outings and Lions boss Kenny Jackett will be out to mastermind another success as his sixth placed side go to Wycombe, who are six points from safety.

Huddersfield have seen their play-off hopes take a knock recently, but a run of three successive draws was brought to an end midweek with a win over Carlisle and the Terriers will be keen to press for another three points when they visit Hartlepool, who have not won in their last six games.

MK Dons remain outside chances to grab a play-off spot and Paul Ince's side will require maximum points in Saturday's home clash against Southend this weekend if they are to keep in touch with the likes of Huddersfield and Millwall.

At the other end of the table, basement boys Stockport look destined for League Two football next season but the Hatters could drag Exeter down with them should they get a result from the St James Park fixture.

Tranmere have been languishing at the wrong end of the table for most of the campaign and their home date with Leyton Orient is a must-win if they are to get themselves out of the danger-zone.

And in Saturday's other fixtures Bristol Rovers will be looking to build on their impressive win over Charlton when they visit relegation worriers Gillingham, while fellow midweek victors Walsall - who won away at Leeds - lock horns with Brentford at the Banks's Stadium.
