Swindon captain Paul Caddis has said the Robins squad will not hold goalkeeper Mattia Lanzano's howler at Burton against him.

Lanzano gifted possession to Justin Richards, who in turn teed up Jacques Maghoma to score Burton's second goal in Swindon's 2-0 defeat at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday.

But far from dumping the blame for the loss on Lanzano, Scottish Under-21 international Caddis insisted the team will rally behind the Italian as they look to bounce back against Barnet this weekend.

"I don't think there was anyone disappointed in Mattia," he said.

"The boys are 100% behind him. He made a mistake but goalies make mistakes and unfortunately that often leads to a goal.

"He is gutted but everyone is gutted, especially after the way we played in the first half."
