Swindon manager Paolo Di Canio hailed winger Matt Ritchie after seeing his side register a 4-0 home win over Barnet.

Raffaele De Vita struck the opening goal in the 11th minute and two goals from Ritchie either side of Mehdi Kerrouche's effort sealed a comfortable afternoon for Di Canio's side.

The Italian said: "Matt did fantastic, not only when he scored the goal, but in his delivery which is first class.

"The way he works off the ball, especially alongside Paul Caddis - they form the best link-up in this league and he's one of the best players in the league."

Di Canio added: "We've had 15 new players, some have gone back, but they've gelled together and understand more how we want to play.

"I hope they understand us and I'm sure in the next three or four games we'll be in the top six or seven."
