New loanee Liam Ridehalgh is desperate to get involved in first-team affairs at Swindon following his switch from Huddersfield.

The 20-year-old attended his first training session on Wednesday following the signing of a one-month loan from the Terriers.

He told the club's official website: "Hopefully I can play as many games as I can down here and do well not just for myself, but for Swindon and the fans.

"It's been a bit of a frustrating start to the season but I am really looking forward to getting involved with Swindon and playing some games that mean something.

"I played a lot of games last season - which was great - but things haven't worked out so far for me this term.

"For the next month I'm a Swindon player and I can't wait to get going."
