Skysports.com understands Bristol Rovers are lining up a move for Shrewsbury forward Matt Harrold.

Harrold: Attracting interest from Rovers

New Rovers boss Paul Buckle is keen to reshape the squad at the Memorial Stadium and he has targeted a move for Harrold.

Harrold only joined Shrewsbury last summer on a free transfer from Wycombe and he scored nine goals last term.

Rovers are keen to bolster their attacking options having lost Will Hoskins and they see Harrold as the man who can fire their bid for promotion.

Buckle has been busy in the transfer market and he is hoping to make Harrold his fourth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Matt Gill, Scott Bevan and Craig Stanley.
