Skysports.com understands Brentford are lining up a move for Wycombe defender Craig Woodman.

Bees boss Andy Scott is keen to bolster his defence and has targeted a move for Woodman.

Woodman has established himself as a key member of the Wycombe side since his arrival from Bristol City in 2007.

However, Wycombe are facing a fight to keep hold of the left-back following their relegation from League One last season.

Woodman is believed to be interested in a move as he is keen to be playing at a higher level than League Two next term.
