Skysports.com understands Wycombe are closing in on the signing of Brighton defender James Tunnicliffe.
Tunnicliffe has found himself out of favour at Brighton and they are ready to let him move on.
The 22-year-old spent the whole of last season on loan to Bristol Rovers after ending the previous season with MK Dons.
Wycombe boss Gary Waddock is keen to bring in Tunnicliffe to bolster his squad as he prepares for life in League One next season.
Tunnicliffe is thought to be undergoing a medical ahead of securing his proposed switch to Adams Park.
