Notts County boss Martin Allen insists he will take no notice of the league table despite their good position in League One.

Allen's men are up to seventh in the standings, four points behind joint-leaders Charlton and Sheffield United and just one point adrift of third-placed Huddersfield.

Following the 2-0 victory at Stevenage on Saturday, Allen said: "We're unbeaten in our last four league games now and doing well, but I'm not going to look at the table, really, honestly.

"All I know is we have got Rochdale at home on Saturday and all we are focused on is trying to win again."

Allen added: "The Stevenage game was our fifth in 14 days and all the players dug deep and produced a fantastic performance to win. There is no keeping them down at the moment."
