Hereford are close to bringing Lionel Ainsworth back to the club in a loan deal.

Ainsworth left Edgar Street last November to join Watford on loan before the move became permanent during the January transfer window.

The 21-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular place in the Watford side and they are willing to loan him out.

Ainsworth is expected to sign a one-month loan deal and should go straight inot the squad for this weekend's clash with Northampton Town.
