Skysports.com understands Morecambe are set to win the race to sign midfielder Izak Reid from League Two rivals Macclesfield.

The 23-year-old, a youth product at Moss Rose, has been offered a new deal by the Silkmen.
But Reid is expected to snub that offer in favour of a switch to the Globe Arena.
The midfielder, who became a regular first-team member at Macclesfield in the 2007-08 season, notched up 37 League Two appearances last term.
