Los Angeles Galaxy have set their sights on Celtic striker Maciej Zurawski, according to the player's agent.

The Pole, who joined Celtic from Wisla Krakow in 2005, has been frustrated by his lack of opportunities for Gordon Strachan's side this term.

He has started just one Scottish Premier League game and has rarely appeared from the substitutes' bench.

His representative Jerzy Kopiec now claims Zurawski could be set to join forces with David Beckham in the New Year.

"The offer from Galaxy is very serious," he told the Scottish Daily Mail.

"They are really determined to sign Maciej and treat him as a big star.

"I am flying to Los Angeles this weekend to make things official."
