Flood: Back at Dundee United
Dundee United have concluded a deal to bring Willo Flood back to the club on loan for another season.
Cardiff allowed the midfielder to spend last term at Tannadice and he made a big impression, making 44 appearances for Craig Levein's side.
It was feared that Cardiff might not be prepared to let Flood return, but Levein was determined and has now been rewarded for his persistence.
Flood will report for pre-season training on Friday and Levein is relieved to have landed his man.
He told the club's official website: "I am absolutely delighted that Willo will be back with us next season.
"I said when he joined us last year that the SPL would suit his style of play, that he would be an important player for and that he would be a firm favourite with the fans.
"He proved me right on every count and making sure that we had Willo for next season has therefore been a priority both for the chairman and myself for several months."
