Hearts have ended their search for a new manager after naming Csaba Laszlo as their new coach.

The Edinburgh club were given permission by the Uganda Football Association to speak to Laszlo and they have quickly agreed a deal with the Hungarian.

The 44-year-old has inked a three-year deal at Tynecastle and he will work alongside sport director Anatoly Korobochka

Hearts have been looking for a permanent manager since last January and they cleared the path for Csaba's appointment by parting company with caretaker boss Stephen Frail earlier this week.

A number of names have been linked with the Hearts role including Mark McGhee and Ian Holloway, but Jambos owner Vladimir Romanov has plumped for Laszlo to lead the side for next season.
