Nish: Wants start
Hibernian striker Colin Nish hopes his equaliser against Falkirk on Saturday will earn him a starting berth against Celtic next weekend.
The striker came off the bench to net with eight minutes to go after Darren Barr had put the home side ahead after 69 minutes.
Nish has not started for three games after Hibs decided to ditch their three-pronged strike force in recent weeks.
But he hopes his goal will have caused boss Mixu Paatelainen a selection headache for next weekend's clash with Celtic.
Nish said: "It's been very frustrating. I've probably been moaning a wee bit more than I used to because I've not been in the team.
"But the only way I can get back in the team is by what I do on the park, so I just need to keep working hard and see what happens.
"You aim to score when you go on. You've got to try and make an impression and luckily I got one of those goals you wish you could get every week.
"It's a wee bit frustrating we didn't get back-to-back wins but we've not lost a game in three now.
"We've got a big game next week and hopefully we can get the three points there.
"The only thing you can do as a player is go on the park and do your best. The manager will make the decisions for next week, so hopefully I've made his decision harder."
Nish believes Hibs could have gone on to win the Falkirk game but was satisfied with the draw in the end.
He added: "I think if the game had gone on a wee bit longer we could have got a winner. To be fair, throughout the game, we had a lot of chances.
"But we were playing against a good team at home, so 1-1 is a good result for us."
