Don Cowie has admitted that his future may lie away from Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

The midfielder has been strongly linked with the likes of Leeds, Dundee United and Rangers in recent weeks.

The 24-year-old is honoured to be in the thoughts of such prestigious clubs, but has vowed to give his all to Caley's cause until a deal materialises.

"It's very flattering to be linked with the clubs who have been mentioned so far," he told the Scottish Sun.

"Until something happens, though, I need to put it all to the back of my mind.

"When I go out onto the park I'll be doing everything I possibly can to get a result for Caley."

Cowie, who is free to sign a pre-contract agreement with any interested party as his deal with Inverness is set to expire in the summer, lined up against Rangers on Sunday but was unable to prevent the Gers from securing a comfortable 3-0 win.
