Celtic's Spanish star Marc Crosas says he is ready to make his comeback against Dundee in the Scottish Cup.

The 20-year-old has been restricted to just six first-team appearances since signing from Barcelona, mainly due to injury.

Crosas has missed almost three months of action recently due to a hamstring tear, but the Spaniard says he is ready for manager Gordon Strachan this weekend if needed.

"I'm training hard for that but always it's the manager who has the choice," said Crosas.

Hoping to play

"He hasn't told me that but I'm ready always to play. It's him who has the choice but I really hope so."

Crosas, who had a loan spell with Lyon last season, has admitted it has taken time to adapt to the pace of the British game.

He said: "In the beginning, it was difficult because when you start in another country, it's not easy. But I played some games, maybe five or six games and I was in the XI.

"After my injury, it was also difficult for me, but you have to be ready to play sometimes and also be on the bench and to be ready to help the team."
