Chelsea youngster Morten Nielsen hopes to learn within the next couple of days if he will secure a move to Celtic.

The Danish starlet has been strongly linked with a move to Scotland and visited the SPL champions earlier this month.

He is out of contract at Chelsea at the end of the season and the teenager's agent and father Benny Neilsen is awaiting a response from Celtic.

Impressed

Neilsen's father told Ekstra Badet: "We were there (Celtic Park) last week and were very impressed by the facilities.

"Celtic seem very serious and have great plans for Morten.

"He is to join the first team if we can agree on a contract. The next couple of days will determine that."

He added: "I am waiting for a response from (Chelsea sporting director Frank) Arnesen.

"It is out of our hands but I am hopeful the two clubs can come to an agreement."
