Lennon: Satisfied with business
Neil Lennon has declared himself satisfied with Celtic's transfer activity over the summer and now hopes his new-look side will be able to gel.
Having been named permanent manager in June, Lennon set about strengthening his squad considerably in a bid to wrestle the SPL title off Rangers.
Anthony Stokes was the final player to arrive before the transfer deadline on Tuesday, although Lennon admits he would have liked to bring in at least one more fresh face.
The former Northern Ireland international is nevertheless relieved in one way that he now knows exactly what he has to work with.
The Bhoys may have already been knocked out of Europe but Lennon is now looking forward to working hard with his players once the international break is over.
He said: "I am pretty happy. We got Anthony Stokes in on the last day of the window, so I am very pleased about that.
"I would have liked another one player, but these things are there to test you.
"We knocked on doors a few times, but were refused and there's not a lot you can do about that.
"But that's the window shut now and hopefully we will be able to settle things down and work with the squad - although, unfortunately at the minute, most of the squad are away on international duty."
