Arfield: Deal close
Falkirk manager Steven Pressley has confirmed the club are close to selling talented midfielder Scott Arfield.
Huddersfield are believed to have bid around £400,000 for the 21-year-old, a figure that would eclipse the club's transfer record received.
That figure could rise as high as £600,000 if the Scotland B international makes a certain number of appearances for the League One side.
Pressley believes the Bairns could make an announcement as early as Monday once the deal is finalised.
"The transfer is very close. Some kind of statement is likely to come from the club on Monday if everything is in place," explained Pressley.
"It's not an absolutely done deal just yet. There are still a couple of things to be cleared.
"There should be some clarity on it over the weekend."
