Fred: PSG interest
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has revealed he is prepared to sell Fred to Paris Saint Germain.
The Brazilian striker has started just two games in Ligue 1 for the French champions this season and is ready to move on.
He has expressed fears for his international career and has acknowledged to being tempted by a switch to PSG.
Talks have taken place between the clubs, with Aulas seemingly happy to allow Fred to move to Parc des Princes.
"We have exchanged phone calls with Alain Cayzac (PSG president)," Aulas told Le Parisien. "They know that I am ready to help.
"Frankly, I hope Fred will go to PSG. It's a good deal if PSG are interested."
Aulas is keen for the transfer to be settled within the first two weeks of the January window and has set an approximate price for the 24-year-old.
He added: "The purchase price in 2005 amounted to 16.3million euros (£11.9m). Today, it is the price of a Brazilian international between 15 and 20million euros (£11m-14.6m).
"But we are not there in the negotiations."
