Toulalan: Late goal
Lyon and Marseille shared 10 goals in a cracker at Stade Gerland as Bordeaux suffered a shock defeat on the road.
A stoppage-time own goal from Jeremy Toulalan secured Marseille a point following a remarkable 5-5 draw in a rollercoaster affair at Lyon.
Marseille twice came from behind before forcing a 4-2 lead, only for Lyon to hit back and regain the advantage in the final minute, only for Toulalan to put into his own net.
Miralem Pjanic fired Lyon ahead after just three minutes, but Souleymane Diawara headed home Fabrice Abriel's corner on 11 minutes to equalise.
Pjanic set up Sidney Govou to restore Lyon's lead three minutes later, only for Marseille to level a minute before the break through Benoit Cheyrou.
Abriel's cross two minutes into the second half set up Bakari Kone to score before Brandao turned home an Abriel corner to make it 4-2 on 79 minutes.
Lyon pulled a goal back on 81 minutes through Lisandro Lopez, who levelled from the penalty spot on 84 minutes following a handball by Gabriel Heinze.
The hosts then went ahead in the last minute through substitute Michel Bastos, only for Toulalan to turn the ball into his own goal in stoppage-time after Mamadou Niang's shot had been blocked.
Bordeaux hang on to top spot in the table despite the reigning champions slipping to a surprise 2-0 away defeat by Lille.
The home side made the breakthrough midway through the second half when Yohan Cabaye scored from close range after Pierre-Alain Frau's effort had been saved.
And Lille made certain of the points three minutes from time when Florent Balmont scored from the penalty spot after Michael Ciani had fouled Larsen Toure.
Toulouse moved up into the top half of the standings after a thrilling 3-2 victory at home to Rennes.
Moussa Sissoko's free-kick gave Toulouse the lead on 31 minutes, but Rennes were level just before half-time when Asamoah Gyan scored.
Romain Danze then hit the bar for Rennes before Toulouse were back in front on 59 minutes when Sissoko set up Daniel Braaten to score.
Andre-Pierre Gignac's shot from outside the box made it 3-1 four minutes later before Kader Mangane grabbed a late consolation for Rennes.
