Toulouse have been dealt a blow with the news that keeper Yohann Pele has been ruled out for up to four months.

The 27-year-old suffered a knee injury after making a brave save to preserve his side's 1-0 lead over Boulogne on Saturday.

He collided with Boulogne's Bira Dembele and had to be substituted in injury-time, being replaced by Olivier Blondel.

Scans have now revealed that the keeper ruptured his posterior cruciate ligament in the incident.

No surgery

While Pele will not require surgery, the club have confirmed he faces between three and four months on the sidelines.

It is a further blow for the 6ft 5in shot-stopper after he fractured a hand earlier in the campaign.

He has only played eight matches this season since his switch from Le Mans in the summer for an undisclosed fee.

Confirming his latest injury on their official website, the club added: "We wish him a swift recovery."
