Heinze: Out of action
Gabriel Heinze has been ruled out of Real Madrid's first game of the UEFA Champions League.
The former Manchester United defender injured his left leg in Madrid's recent meeting with Almeria and was substituted after 45 minutes.
Madrid coach Bernd Schuster has now decided to omit Heinze from his squad for the meeting with Werder Bremen on Tuesday after the Argentine underwent medical tests.
However, Arjen Robben has been included in Schuster's squad and could be in line for his first Madrid appearance since a summer move from Chelsea.
Robben has been struggling for fitness, but the Dutch winger has been cleared by doctors.
