Alves: Actively seeking transfer
Daniel Alves is no closer to departing Sevilla, despite the club receiving three bids for the full-back.
The Brazilian international is keen to secure a summer move away from Sanchez Pizjuan, but as yet his efforts have been in vain.
The defender is desperate to test himself at one of Europe's top clubs, and with a host of sides expressing an interest in his talents in the past a transfer appeared to be a formality.
However, Sevilla have made it clear that they will not let one of their prized assets leave on the cheap and are holding firm until their valuation is met.
Alves still has four years left to run on his current deal and club president Jose Maria del Nido insists that he will be forced to see out his contract should no suitable offers materialise.
"We have received three offers but not one is close (to our valuation) and for that reason I haven't even entered into negotiations," he said.
"Until a deal is reached, the player will see out his contract."
Sevilla turned down a 33million euros (£26.3million) bid from Barcelona last summer, suggesting that it would take a record-breaking move for a defender to lure the Primera Division side into a sale.
