Brazilian starlet Walter saw a move to Europe fall through before the transfer window closed.

The 19-year-old is very highly-rated, although he is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Porto Alegre-based side.

Walter still had offers to move to England, Portugal and Spain, but his agent Juan Figer - who owns half of the player - opted to rejected all the bids.

"It's true that Walter and Inter had accepted what had been offered for him," Figer revealed.

"I can't say the names of the European teams that were interested in him because maybe in the future we have negotiations again.

"I can only say that there was a team from England, Portugal and Spain."
