Out-of-favour Valencia keeper Timo Hildebrand says he will give his all to secure a future at the club.

The Germany international joined Los Che from Stuttgart in the summer of 2007, but spent much of last season competing for a place in the starting line-up with club stalwart Santiago Canizares.

As a result, the 29-year-old was omitted from his country's Euro 2008 squad despite spending the recent past as the recognised back-up to Jens Lehmann.

He was again left out of the Valencia side by boss Unai Emery for their season opener against Real Mallorca, but insists he has not given up hope of establishing himself at Mestalla.

"I will see how things develop, wait for my next chance and then do everything possible to take it," Hildebrand wrote on his personal website.

"Over the next three months the only choice I have is to train hard and await the decision of my coach. Only then will we be able to see where my future lies."
