De Zeeuw: Wanted man
Primera Liga outfit Valencia are believed to be keen on AZ Alkmaar midfielder Demy de Zeeuw.
De Telegraaf claim the Holland international is attracting interest from Spain, having failed to secure a move away from his homeland over the summer.
Bundesliga giants Hamburg made an approach for the 25-year-old on transfer deadline day but were foiled in their efforts to take De Zeeuw to Germany.
The move came too late for an agreement to be reached, much to the annoyance of the ambitious star.
His form dipped at the start of the current campaign as his focus appeared to drift elsewhere, although he has looked back to his best of late.
He has helped AZ climb into third place in the Eredivisie, while also establishing himself as a regular member of the Dutch national side.
