Ronaldo: To be unveiled
Real Madrid have confirmed Cristiano Ronaldo has passed his medical at the Primera Division club.
Ronaldo landed at Madrid airport just after midday on Monday before heading to the Hospital Sanitas La Moraleja for his medical.
The Portugal international is to be unveiled in front of around 80,000 Real supporters at the Bernabeu at 8pm on Monday.
Carlos Diez, Real's medical chief, told the club's official website: "(Ronaldo) is in perfect condition and very eager to start the season as soon as possible.
"He has an extraordinary cardiac and lung capacity. We have complemented everything that we already did in Portugal and done all the specific tests.
"Now we will be able to start working using an individual plan in order to improve his performance.
"For him (Ronaldo), it's a dream, and this dream starts to convert into reality from today."
Ronaldo's transfer from Manchester United to the Spanish giants is a world-record fee of £80million.
The attacker's arrival follows the captures of Kaka from AC Milan and Raul Albiol from Valencia.
Ronaldo netted a remarkable 118 goals in 292 appearances for United after joining the club from Sporting Lisbon in 2003.
