Klaas-Jan Huntelaar's agent says the Real Madrid striker has yet to make a decision on his future amid reports he has travelled to Marseille for talks.

Holland international Huntelaar's future at the Bernabeu appears uncertain following the recent big-money arrivals in the Spanish capital.

He reportedly turned down the chance to join Lyon as part of the Karim Benzema deal, while AC Milan have shelved their interest.

Manchester United and Stuttgart have been linked with Huntelaar, who scored eight goals in 20 Primera Division appearances after joining Real from Ajax in January.

However, Marseille now appear to be favourites to sign the 25-year-old after reports in France claimed he was meeting club officials on the South Coast on Thursday.

Huntelaar's agent Arnold Oosterveer confirmed there is interest in the hit-man and is waiting to discover where he fits into Real's plans for the new season.

"Klaas-Jan is back in Madrid and he wants to know what his situation at Real is now," Oosterveer told Voetbal International.

"There are a lot of rumours around and there is a lot of interest in him.

"But we also have to wait for the player himself to make a decision."
