Atletico Madrid have bolstered their defence ahead of their UEFA Champions League campaign by signing teenage Uruguayan defender Leandro Cabrera.
The 18-year-old has joined the Spanish Primera Liga club from Uruguayan outfit Defensor Sporting.
Atletico have not specified the length of the 18-year-old's contract but said he has signed for "the coming seasons".
The youngster joins compatriot Diego Forlan at the club.
