Barcelona presidential candidate Sandro Rosell has admitted he would consider selling shirt sponsorship for the first time in the club's 111-year history.
The former vice-president at Camp Nou, who departed the club in 2005 following a falling out with current supremo Joan Laporta, is set to stand for election this summer.
He is the strong favourite to land the role, but is unwilling to openly discuss his proposals at present.
"We're not at election time," he said.
However, he has commented on the controversial topic of shirt sponsorship, which may distance himself from some supporters.
Barca currently bear the UNICEF logo upon their playing strip, but that deal was secured as a humanitarian gesture and the club paid 1.5million euros for the privilege.
Rosell has no qualms with such an agreement but admits he would consider breaking from tradition and selling sponsorship rights if economics demanded it.
"Everything depends on the club's finances," he said.
"First you have to see how the club is economically and subsequently make decisions.
"If you do not know the numbers, you cannot give a very honest view."
