Deportivo La Coruna coach Miguel Angel Lotina has signed a one-year contract extension at La Riazor.

Lotina's current contract was set to expire in June but a brief statement on the Depor website announced that the 62-year-old has signed on for another season.

Lotina arrived at the Riazor in 2007 and Depor have made steady progress under the former Osasuna and Espanyol coach, finishing ninth in his first season in charge and seventh the following campaign.

Depor are currently in sixth, two points behind fourth-placed Sevilla.
