Crosas: New signing
Celtic have confirmed the signing of Marc Crosas on a four-year contract from Barcelona.
The SPL champions agreed a fee with Barcelona earlier in the week and have now finalised personal terms with the midfielder.
The Bhoys will pay just an initial £415,000, rising to a potential £1.6million depending on appearances, as part of an agreement between the two clubs.
Barcelona have the right to buy back Crosas in two years for £1.65million with the Glasgow club retaining 25 per cent of his worth, but if the Catalan club do not take up that option, they would receive 25 per cent of any transfer fee Celtic receive from another club.
Crosas, who was on loan at Lyon last season, was paraded by Celtic at Parkhead before Sunday's SPL opener against St Mirren.
Bhoys boss Gordon Strachan had not watched the youngster in the flesh, but feels his passing ability could become a 'priceless asset'.
