Fabregas: Praise for Barca
Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has admitted any player would relish the chance to play for Barcelona following their emphatic UEFA Champions League success.
Barca, Fabregas' former side before he joined the Gunners in 2003, were at their fluid best as they cruised to a 2-0 triumph over Manchester United on Wednesday.
And Spain international Fabregas, who has been regularly linked with a return to the Primera Division giants, has hailed Barca's impressive display.
He told ONA FM: "Which player would not like to play for a team like that at the moment?
"They are probably the best team that I have seen play in history and I have a lot friends there who are always telling me great things.
"Of course, you feel envy in a healthy way because of the way they play football. Everyone's dream would be to play in a team like this."
Former Gunners striker Thierry Henry added the Champions League to his incredible list of trophy wins and Fabregas was one of the first to congratulate the Frenchman.
"I spoke to him yesterday and that was the only thing that he was missing. He was delighted," he continued.
"He had a difficult year adapting and this year he came into his own. (Barca boss Pep) Guardiola showed faith in him.
"Now Henry has everything and I do not know if there are many players that can equal his honours list."
