Villarreal have loaned Ecuadorian starlet Antonio Valencia to Segunda outfit Recreativo de Huelva.

The 20-year-old joined the Yellow Submarines in the summer but has failed to break into the first-team picture at El Madrigal.

As a result, Villarreal boss Manuel Pellegrini has decided the time is right to farm him out to allow him to gain more experience.

Recreativo currently sit second La Segunda, three points behind table-toppers Xerez.

They expect the powerful young South American to bolster their promotion bid.
