Internazionale manager Roberto Mancini will not leave Giuseppe Meazza this summer, according to his agent.

Mancini steered Inter to their third successive Serie A title on Sunday, but it has been rumoured he will leave the Italian giants and Jose Mourinho has been touted as his successor.

The former Italian international announced that he was set to leave Inter at the end of the season following the UEFA Champions League last 16 defeat at the hands of Liverpool in March.

However, Mancini has since indicated a desire to remain with Inter and his agent - Giorgio De Giorgis - does not expect a departure.

"Roberto remains 100 per cent at Inter," De Giorgis told Radio Radio. "I would be very surprised if he were to leave.

And De Giorgis has revealed Mancini has apologised for suggesting he would leave Inter after holding discussions with club president Massimo Moratti.

"When he spoke with Moratti he apologised for what he said after the Champions League elimination by Liverpool and took a few backwards steps," De Giorgis concluded.
