Inter Milan boss Jose Mourinho admits he did not label himself the 'Special One' but believes there is no one better than him.

Mourinho, who has never been shy to extol his own virtues, says he was given the tag of the 'Special One' by the English media following his first press conference as Chelsea manager.

The Portuguese tactician thinks he should not be hailed in such a way, but concedes there is no better manager than him in the game.

"When I arrived in London, all I said was that I am a normal manager in charge of a special group. All of a sudden I became the 'Special One,' but I never defined myself as that," Mourinho told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I do not think I am the best coach in the world, but I also don't believe there is anyone in the world who is better than me."

Mourinho also aimed a swipe at Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich saying he enjoys a better relationship with Inter supremo Massimo Moratti.

Passion

"They have great passion for football and this is fundamental but Moratti has been at Inter for 63 years, from the day he was born. Roman has only been at Chelsea for five years," added Mourinho.

Mourinho also reiterated his disappointment at Inter's failure to lure Frank Lampard away from Chelsea.

Lampard was strongly linked with a move to Inter earlier this summer, but the England international ended all speculation over his future by signing a new five-year deal at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho admits he was left bitter by Lampard's decision to snub Inter to stay at Chelsea, but insists he remains on good terms with the midfielder.

"Frank is in my heart for what we have done together," continued Mourinho.

"There is a little bitterness because he told me - 'I come with you surely and if I can't I come within a year'. Instead he changed his mind, but he would have surely disappointed me a lot should he have moved away.

"He remained at Chelsea and we are still friends."
