Bologna boss Daniele Arrigoni has been told that Saturday's match with Napoli is important amid rumours that he could be replaced.

Arrigoni does not believe that Bologna are looking to bring someone else in, although he has not spoken about his long-term future with the club president.

"The president told me the match with Napoli will be important," Arrigoni told Gazzetta dello Sport.

"We haven't spoken about his faith in me, but if they want to change, surely they don't tell me this first."

Newly promoted Bologna shocked AC Milan on the opening day of the season but have since slipped to three successive defeats and are currently 18th in the table.

Speculation has suggested that experienced coaches Alberto Zaccheroni and Walter Novellino are both being considered as potential replacements for Arrigoni.
