Juventus moved level on points with Inter Milan at the top of the Serie A table following a 4-1 victory over Genoa at the Stadio Olimpico.
The home side had made a poor start to the season, creating pressure on Claudio Ranieri, but they have now won their last five league games to ease the criticism of their manager.
Juve wasted little time in taking the lead as Czech full-back Grygera broke the deadlock after just six minutes.
Twenty minutes later Amauri doubled the advantage and Genoa, who remain seventh, did not look capable of responding.
Vincenzo Iaquinta then added a third with five minutes remaining, but Genoa's Argentina international Diego Milito rescued hope from the penalty spot four minutes later.
However, any ideas of a spectacular comeback were short-lived as a Sokratis Papastathopoulos own goal made sure Juve earned the points in the final minute.
