Bologna have snapped up former Inter Milan and Lazio winger Cesar Aparecido.

The 34-year-old has been without a club since leaving Inter in the summer.

He has now agreed a deal with Bologna, where he will again link-up with coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, who he worked with at Inter.

"Unfortunately there are certain things that happen in football," said Cesar.

"Just four months ago I was celebrating the title, and then I found myself out."

Cesar was unhappy with how he left Inter.

"It's a strange situation. It's true there is no more Roberto Mancini at Inter, but I had promises that were not kept," he said.

"I want to thank Bologna for giving me this opportunity.

"I feel good physically and I am ready to give everything in the battle for salvation.

"I know Mihajlovic because we played together. I will now be trying to show my ability and to score goals."
