Berlusconi: Would play Beckham straight away
AC Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi admits he would play David Beckham in the side straight away.
The England star has joined Milan on loan from LA Galaxy until 9th March in order to maintain his fitness and so boost his international prospects.
He will officially start training with the Rossoneri in Dubai on Monday and could make his debut against Roma on 11th January.
Berlusconi said: "I would immediately play him. With Beckham, Pato, Pirlo, Seedorf, Kaka and Ronaldinho, a goal is guaranteed."
The Milan owner has confirmed that the loan signing of Beckham came as a shock and was made possible by chief officer Adriano Galliani.
"His signing has also been a surprise for me. It has been a gift," he said.
