Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti has given the clearest indication yet that Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Maicon look set to leave the club this summer.

The Nerazzurri supremo stated that he would allow the duo to leave if the right bid was received, adding that he was 50 per cent certain that the pair would move on in the coming weeks.

There has been huge speculation surrounding Ibrahimovic ever since the season drew to a close with Spanish giants Real Madrid and Barcelona linked with the Sweden striker.

Brazilian Maicon is another who has expressed a desire to move on if the club fail to match his ambition in the transfer market this summer with a switch to Madrid also mooted.

"As a fan I'd want them to stay, but as a president with a balance sheet to keep an eye on, I say that if they want to go, they can go. It would be counterproductive to keep them," he told Il Giornale.

50/50 chance

"I'd give them both a 50 per cent chance of staying at Inter."

Moratti admits to meeting with Barca president Joan Laporta over a prospective transfer for Ibrahimovic but admits that the Catalan club's chief was 'not so motivated' about the deal.

Reports in Italy and Spain suggest that Moratti is set to hold talks with his Real counterpart Florentino Perez to discuss a possible deal for the duo although the Italian admits that the Primera Liga club are less likely to move for Maicon.

"Real Madrid have almost no interest in defenders, zero interest actually, which is fortunate because Maicon is the best full-back in the world," he added.

Maicon is said to cost around £30million while Ibrahimovic would set a club back some £80million.
