Juventus have been warned that Saturday's Serie A match against Inter Milan will be stopped for 10 minutes if there is racist chanting.

Italian football federation president Giancarlo Abete made the warning after fans abused Inter striker Mario Balotelli, who is of Ghanaian descent, last season.

Juve were ordered to play one game in an empty stadium as punishment and since then, the Turin-based club has already been fined this season after fans sung racially offensive songs about the striker in recent weeks.

In preparation for Saturday's game, Abete said on Monday that the referee and the police can take a joint decision if there is abuse.
