Jovanovic: Milan link
Standard Liege attacker Milan Jovanovic could be on his way to AC Milan, according to his agent.
The 28-year-old Serbia international has been linked with a move to the Rossoneri and could switch to Serie A when the transfer window opens in January.
Jovanovic's agent Thorsten Weck revealed that there is also interest from England and Spain, but that Milan may be the most likely destination.
"There is the possibility that Jovanovic goes away in January, anything is possible," he told calciomercato.it.
"He has played though in the Champions League already with Standard Liege and this could be an obstacle for his transfer. He costs between four and 10million Euros.
"AC Milan is a great club and Milan is a wonderful city.
"At the moment I have not had direct contact with them, maybe Milan have called the club (Liege).
"Jovanovic is collecting interest across Europe, especially in England and Spain."
Milan are currently second in Serie A, eight points behind leaders Inter, as Italian clubs continue their winter break.
Milan's vice-president Adriano Galliani admitted the club are looking for cheap players in the transfer market, and that Jovanovic could be an option.
"Jovanovic is one of the names on which we are working on for next season," he told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"We are looking for good and possibly no-cost players."
