Eto'o and co draw a blank
Inter Milan missed the chance to open up a six-point gap over city rivals AC Milan after being held by Genoa.
AC Milan were held to a goalless draw by Roma on Saturday and now Jose Mourinho's side have followed suit.
Morinho's team were sterile in attack in a listless first half, when Genoa's Giandomenico Mesto and Giuseppe Sculli and Inter's Dejan Stankovic all had crisp but central shots easily saved.

Although Andrea Lazzari opened the scoring for home side the visitors were in control at the break thanks to Giuseppe Mascara's leveller from the penalty spot before Gaston Maxi Lopez added a second.
Cagliari's plight worsened when Michele Canini was shown a second yellow card, but to their credit they still managed to force a share of the spoils when substitute Andrea Cossu scored on 74 minutes.
