Inter Milan striker Victor Obinna has revealed that he would like to remain in Serie A, although he has played down speculation regarding a move to Brescia.

The 22-year-old Nigerian hinted earlier this month that he would be open to a move to Stoke, but it appears he would prefer to stay in Italy.

Newly promoted Brescia have been linked with a move for Obinna, who spent last season on loan with Malaga.

Obinna says he has not been approached by Brescia but understands that a number of clubs are keen on securing his services.

"I haven't had contact with Brescia, my agent hasn't spoken to me about it," he explained to tuttomercatoweb.

"My agent has said some teams are interested, but nothing concrete.

"I'd like to stay in Italy, but it depends on the situation. It's all in the hands of Inter, but I can tell you I haven't had contact with Brescia."
